Something you may or may not have noticed Hype Girl doing more of lately is something we’ve been asked about for years, and are finally able to bring to life- mini boudoir experiences! We have so many exciting themes lined up for the rest of the year, and I cannot wait to see all of these ideas really come to life. We’ve already hosted two different sets of minis, our third happening in April, and we just released ANOTHER happening in June!

But before I get too far into it, let me answer a question I’m sure you’re asking…

How are these minis different from the regular Hype Girl experience?

Well, there are a few differences- a big one being the time! Our full boudoir sessions are a full day, 9am-2:30pm (or even later if you choose to add on the Outdoor Boudoir Set) and include quite a bit more than just the photographing. Our minis are a shorter, 30 minute experience designed to give you a little taste of the real thing! You will still be posed every step of the way, and if you know Tiffany, you know that she is amazing at this! From where to place your hands, how to point your toes, even when to exhale deeply to help relax your face. You don’t need to have ANY posing knowledge or experience before your session- most of our ladies don’t! So don’t stress about practicing your poses or exaggerating facial expressions before your session, just focus on stretching and hydrating and getting excited!

Another difference between our full and mini sessions is what’s included. Our full boudoir sessions are a longer day like I said earlier, and include professional hair and makeup, 1.5 hours of photographing, 3-4 outfit choices, and a same-day reveal to see your photos and choose your favorites for products. Your session fee goes to cover all of this, no digitals or products are included! Our mini sessions are a bit different this way- they don’t include hair and makeup or a same day reveal, and they’re 30 minutes with 1 outfit choice. They also don’t include products, but we have a specialized mini session product list that is available for you to purchase off of!

Another difference is that Hype Girl minis are also themed and set for certain days! This is a big reason we decided to start up mini sessions for the boudoir side of the business. Between our clients bringing so many fun ideas and the boudoir community in general, there are so many different ways to be creative and really make something unique and special! Our very first set of minis was Christmas themed, and we decorated the boudoir studio to really capture that holly jolly feeling. And on top of that, coordinating lingerie to add a little something extra was just the cherry on top! Our next set of minis that we hosted were our Blacklight minis, and this is where things got a bit messy- in the best way possible. Dripping colorful paint and breaking out the blacklight really created something GORGEOUS and unlike anything we’ve ever done before! We honestly loved these so much- it was so much fun to do something different, play with new techniques, and truly create artwork. Following these, we hosted Greenhouse minis! We’ve also done beach babe minis, where we truly embrace the Florida shoreline and golden sunsets.

We are so excited to get some more ladies in and create even more magic with our upcoming mini experiences!

One great thing about these mini sessions is that if you’ve NEVER had a boudoir session before, this is a great way to get a taste of the real thing. You’re still posed every step of the way, and you’ll be able to get a feel of what the full sessions are like- especially if you haven’t met Tiffany or Tifanie until your mini! Once you meet and spend some time together, you’ll get to see just how fun they both are to be around and how easy it is to get comfortable when working with them.

If you’re like us and have a super packed schedule, another difference is that these minis are only 30 minutes- not the whole entire day! You show up already with your hair and makeup done however you choose to do it, so all we really have to do at your session is get you dressed (or undressed), and we start shooting. Instead of having to take the entire day away from work or your family, it’s just a quick half hour and you’re good to go. Depending on the day (and how many kids you have in tow), that’s less than the time of a typical Target run!

With one set of mini sessions left this year, we are already tapping that “add to cart” button to give you a sweet and spicy twist on “holiday photos”.

November 13th at our Jacksonville Florida studio, we’re hosting The Naughty List Minis! The studio will be decorated with holiday decor, and we’re going to be unwrapping the greatest gift of all- YOU!
