Miss F absolutely owned her entire session, and from the second she walked into the studio, it was clear this was going to be one of those confidence-shift kind of days.

She originally booked her session to show off her brand new sternum tattoo. But like so many clients, it wasn’t just about the tattoo. It was about body image. It was about wanting to feel powerful again. It was about seeing herself differently.

As a Jacksonville Florida boudoir photographer, I get to witness that transformation all the time. The nerves. The excitement. The moment someone sits down at their reveal and realizes, “Wait… that’s me?”

Miss F’s Jacksonville Florida boudoir experience was exactly that kind of magic.

What made you decide to do a boudoir session?

I felt like I needed something to boost my confidence and give me a more positive body image. I had just recently gotten a sternum tattoo and wanted to show it off somehow but knew my skills were a bit lacking. That's when I thought about doing boudoir.

What made you decide to hire me as your photographer?

I had been looking at a few Florida based Female photographers and just really like the vibe I was getting from Hype Girl. The style of photos I was seeing went right along with what I wanted to do for my session.

How did you feel about the consultation?

The consultation was super helpful. I sort of went into this only knowing I wanted to show off my tattoo but not really how to go about that. So being able to talk with someone who does this on the regular and could give suggestions was really nice. It also got my brain working on what I really wanted to do for outfits and gave me a direction for what to look for.

How were you feeling the week leading up to your session?

I was feeling very nervous and excited. This was a brand new experience for me but I was really excited about it.

Now that you've had your own photo shoot, how was it?

It was amazing. I had so much fun during the shoot and felt really good throughout it too.

How did you feel about having your hair and makeup done?

I really enjoyed it. I don't do my own hair and makeup very often so having someone else with experience do them felt amazing. I really felt like I was spoiling myself.

Is there anything I could do that would make this experience completely perfect?

I don't think there's anything I would change about the session. I loved every moment and would definitely do this again in the future.

What was going through your head seeing your images for the first time?

I could only think "wow" and "I can't believe that's me". It was so surreal looking at the photos for the first time.

Do you feel like the flow I did during the reveal helped you?

I do feel like the flow was really helpful. Going through the photos and then choosing just based on what I liked first before looking at what I wanted to do with them product wise was really good. Helped me slow my thinking and not stress about it as much.

“I was feeling a bit down about myself and needed a boost for confidence and body image. I had recently gotten a tattoo on my sternum so i wanted to show it off but knew I would not be able to do it on my own. Thats what reminded me about boudoir. I remember thinking about how the women I had seen do it before looked stunning and felt that it was the right way to go for me. Having the consultation really helped me solidify what direction I wanted to go in for my session and what I would be looking for in outfits. Leading up to the session, I was super excited and nervous but the nerves calmed once I got in the studio.

Having my hair and makeup done was really relaxing and felt like I was spoiling myself. Getting into the shoot was about what I had expected, but the flow and explanation throughout made the whole process a lot smoother. After the shoot I was feeling so relaxed now that it was done. I was really excited to see the results but was not prepared for how good they made me feel. As I was looking at them, I was just in awe of myself. These photos really did boost my confidence. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is feeling down or just wants to do something fun for themselves. It was truly a treat and an awesome empowering experience.” -Miss F
